This charming, 400-year-old timber framed hotel offers central, comfortable accommodation in the historical town of Stolberg in the southern Harz Mountains, Saxony-Anhalt.
The Hotel Zum Kanzler lies on the picturesque market place, opposite the town hall. Guests can choose between rooms with views over the market place or of the nearby forest.
A wide and varied buffet breakfast is provided, free of charge, in the mornings in the traditional-style restaurant.
You can enjoy delicious regional cuisine here in the evenings, with ingredients supplied by the in-house butchers.
Round off the evening, in fine weather, with a drink outside on the market place terrace.
