Strandhotel Duhnen - Cuxhaven

Guests can build sandcastles, go mudflat hiking, sailing or windsurfing here in the Wattenmeer Nature Park.

Snacks and drinks are also served in Kamp’s Bistro with outdoor terrace or in the stylish Lido Bar lounge. The traditional Störtebeker pub offers a poolbilliard table and darts.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

On the weekend of July 23th to 26th, 2026 and August 9th, 2026, the annual Duhner Artists Promenade Festival and the Duhner Wadden Race will take place right on the doorstep of the accommodation. The hotel points out that the promenade will be quite lively in the evenings and therefore asks for your understanding for this happy summer festival!

In the expected period from January 11th to January 14th, 2027, our LEVITAS WELLSPA wellness area will be closed due to annual maintenance work. If you would like to swim, we invite you to the “Thalassozentrum ahoi!” adventure pool at our expense. (500m away). The supervised fitness training offered there on equipment or in courses is also free of charge.
